What Is Delegate Access?
Delegate access lets you give another person, such as a colleague, developer or accountant, their own login to your Motherhost account, with only the permissions you choose. You never share your password.
Request Access to Another Person's Motherhost Account
Need to manage a client's, employer's or colleague's Motherhost account? Ask the account owner to invite you as a delegate. Here's what to send them and how to accept the invite.
Remove a Delegate User from My Account
Remove a delegate's access to your Motherhost account, or cancel an invite that hasn't been accepted yet. The person loses access immediately.
Invite a Delegate to Access My Motherhost Account
Give a colleague, developer or accountant their own access to your Motherhost account. Invite them by email, choose their permissions, and they accept the invite with their own login.
Delegate Access: Levels of Permission
See exactly what each delegate permission allows in your Motherhost account, which permissions suit common roles like an accountant or web developer, and what only the account owner can do.
Change a Delegate's Access Level
Give a delegate more or fewer permissions on your Motherhost account at any time from User Management. Changes take effect straight away.
