Your Motherhost account is where you order and manage domains, hosting, email and other services, pay invoices and get support. Creating one takes a few minutes. You'll need access to your email and your mobile phone, because we'll send a code to each.

Before you start

  • Use an email address you'll always have access to. Avoid one on a domain you're about to register or move to Motherhost. If that domain or its email stops working, you'd stop receiving our invoices and security codes.
  • Use your own mobile number. It receives SMS sign-in and verification codes.
  • Already have an account? Don't create a second one. Log in instead, or reset your password if you've forgotten it.

Create your account

  1. Go to my.motherhost.com/register.
  2. On Create Your Account, enter your First name, Last name, Email, Mobile number and a Password of at least 8 characters. Enter the mobile number with its country code, for example +91 for India.
  3. Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  4. Click Create Account.
  5. Verify your email: we email you a 6-digit code. Enter it in Verification code and click Verify email.
  6. Verify your mobile number: on Verify Your Mobile, check your Mobile number and click Send code. Enter the code we send by SMS in SMS code, then click Verify & Create Account.
  7. Add your address: on Add Your Address, enter your Address, City, state, Pincode/Zipcode and country, then click Save & Continue.

Your account is ready, and you'll land on your dashboard.

Can I skip the address? Yes. Click Skip for now — you can add this later. You'll need to add it before you register a domain or place an order, because domain registries require it. You can add it later under My Profile. See Update my Motherhost account profile.

Create an account from the Motherhost website

You can also sign up while browsing or checking out on www.motherhost.com:

  1. Click Sign In at the top right, then Sign In again, or go to the Secure Client Login page.
  2. Click the Create account tab.
  3. Enter your First name, Last name, Email address, mobile number and Password. The strength meter shows how strong your password is.
  4. Tick the box to agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy, and click Create account.
  5. Enter the code we email you, then the code we send by SMS.

Your account is created once both codes are verified.

Didn't get a code?

  • Email code: check your spam or junk folder. If you may already have an account with this email, log in or use Forgot password instead.
  • SMS code: check the number and its country code, make sure your phone has signal, then click Didn't get it? Send the code again.

Next steps

Motherhost will never ask for your codes or passwords. Our support, sales and other teams will never call, email, text or message you to ask for a one-time code (email or SMS OTP), your account password, or any hosting, email, server or domain login details.
